L’initiative populaire a la teneur suivante:

La Constitution fédérale est modifiée comme suit :

Art. 110, al. 4 (nouveau)

⁴ Tous les travailleurs ont droit à des vacances payées de six semaines par an au minimum.

Les dispositions transitoires de la Constitution fédérale sont modifiées comme suit:

Art. 197, ch. 8 (nouveau)

8. Dispositions transitoires ad art. 110, al. 4 (nouveau)

¹ L’année civile suivant l’acceptation de l’art. 110, al. 4, par le peuple et les cantons, tous les travailleurs ont droit à cinq semaines de vacances au minimum. Durant les cinq années civiles suivantes, ce droit augmente d’un jour par an.

² Le Conseil fédéral règle les modalités nécessaires jusqu’à l’entrée en vigueur de la nouvelle législation fédérale.
