Initiative text
La constitution fédérale du 29 mai 1874 est complétée comme il suit:
I
Art. 89, 3e alinéa
3Les traités internationaux conclus pour une durée déterminée ou indéterminée sont également soumis à l'acceptation ou au rejet par le peuple lorsque la demande en est faite par 30 000 citoyens actifs ou par huit cantons.

II
L'article 89, 3e alinéa, entre en vigueur aussitôt après son acceptation par le peuple et les cantons et l'adoption de l'arrêté de validation par l'Assemblée fédérale.
Le délai référendaire commence à courir au même moment pour les traités internationaux en vigueur qui ont été conclus pour une durée déterminée.
